QuickBooks Attached Documents Replaces Document Management
For new QuickBooks Pro 2011, Premier 2011, Accountant 2011, and Enterprise 11.0 users, QuickBooks Attached Documents replaces Document Management. Instead of storage-based limits, QuickBooks Attached Documents allows accountants and clients to pay based on how many attachments they want to make to a list item or transaction. Users can save time looking for files by attaching scanned receipts, estimates, spreadsheets and other documents to their QuickBooks list items and transactions. Users can access attached documents directly from QuickBooks, store files locally or online, and share online files with anyone electronically.
Current users of the QuickBooks Document Management service on QuickBooks Pro 2010, Premier 2010, Accountant 2010, or Enterprise 10.0 can continue to use the Document Management service in their software (or with their QuickBooks 2011 software, if they upgrade) at pricing levels previously agreed to. Users can maintain their previous attachments by associating the same QuickBooks file for their Document Management service.

Intuit Data Protect Replaces QuickBooks Online Back-up
For new QuickBooks Pro 2011, Premier 2011, Accountant 2011, and Enterprise 11.0 users, Intuit Data Protect replaces QuickBooks Online Back-up. Intuit Data Protect makes it easy for accountants and clients to back up company data, or their entire PC, online. Instead of storage-based tiers with 5/25/75 GB limits, users pay based on what they are storing (QuickBooks data or entire PC) and can keep up to 45 days of backups. And instead of needing to close files for back up to run, they can keep working while automatic backups run in the background once a day, every day. Data is encrypted and protected on online servers, making it easy to recover information in the event that it's lost. Users who are upgrading and had previously used QuickBooks Online Back-up will continue to use that service or can discontinue Online Back-up and sign up for the new Intuit Data Protect.

New Terms of Use for Forms Customization
Users of QuickBooks Pro 2011, Premier 2011, Accountant 2011, and Enterprise 11.0 can try out different forms customizations and see the changes immediately online. Once the changes are applied to selected QuickBooks forms, users will have 30 days to make further edits online or apply the design to other forms at no charge. No charges will be incurred if a user completes all their changes within 30 days - their design will be applied to their forms and saved locally in QuickBooks (in the Templates menu) for them to use for as long as they wish. After this 30-day period, any additional changes to the design (including adding it to other forms) will incur a $4.99 fee. As part of our 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee, users will have 60 days to edit their purchased design. If users are not satisfied with how their design looks once they apply it to their forms, they can edit the design and reapply it to the forms within 60 days of the date they purchased the design. Contact us within 60 days for a full refund of the purchase price.
